Kat Cane

Clinic Director, Senior Aesthetic Nurse – Independent Nurse Prescriber, MSc Hons, PG Dip HE, PG Cert Clinical Injectables (Level 7)

Kat is the Clinical Director of Face Oxford and an Independent Nurse Prescriber with over 20 years’ experience in nursing, education, and aesthetic medicine. She is known for her calm, thorough approach and for prioritising long-term skin health over quick fixes.

Kat specialises in personalised treatment planning, regenerative aesthetics, and skin-led outcomes. Consultations are deliberately unhurried, with a strong focus on education, safety, and realistic expectations. Her philosophy is simple: great results come from good skin, good planning, and honest conversations.

Clinical Background & Training
Kat is an Independent Nurse Prescriber with over two decades of experience across nursing, education, and clinical leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and Education alongside advanced postgraduate qualifications in aesthetic medicine, including a Level 7 qualification.

Her background includes senior clinical and teaching roles within the NHS, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, patient safety, and clinical governance. Alongside her clinical work, Kat has extensive experience mentoring and supporting other practitioners within the aesthetics field.

This breadth of experience underpins Face Oxford’s structured, ethical, and skin-first approach to care.

Emily Mott

Senior Aesthetic Therapist-Level 3 NVQ

Emily has a long history in health and beauty and has Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy. She joined Kat in the Aesthetics in 2021, focusing and being trained to a high level to provide treatments such as skincare and chemical peels, Hydrafacials, microneedling, laser hair removal and body contouring.

Emily delivers advanced skin and laser treatments, with a particular interest in skin quality, pigmentation, and long-term skin health. Clients value her clear explanations, gentle approach, and the time she takes to ensure each treatment feels comfortable and well planned.

Emily is a busy mum, with a keen passion for learning and helping our wonderful clients to feel the best they possibly can. She’s incredible with everyone she meets and has a huge skill of making people feel relaxed and comfortable within seconds of meeting them!

Jessica Simmons

Aesthetic Nurse, RGN

Jessica joined the Team in 2024, whilst continuing to practice part time in the NHS as a specialist nurse.

Jessica has steadily increased her aesthetic portfolio, including completion of the prestigious London Academy of Aesthetic Medicine’s Ultimate Toxin course. Her favourite treatment is SkinPen Microneedling; the results speak for themselves!

Having suffered from severe acne herself, Jessica’s approach is rooted in promoting personal well-being. She loves to help others feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.Jessica values honesty and is a true believer in educating people about the best treatments to help people achieve their goals. This enables them to them make decisions about the treatment options that will work best for them.

Aesthetic Therapist-Level 4 VTCT

Jane is our wonderful Aesthetic Therapist with extensive experience in advanced skincare and non-invasive treatments. She has a natural ability to put clients at ease and takes pride in tailoring treatments to suit each individual’s skin and goals.

Jane has a particular interest in clinical microneedling and skin-conditioning treatments like Hydrafacials and is known for her calm, reassuring manner and practical skincare advice that fits into real life.

Deepti is the Clinic Coordinator at Face Oxford and is often the first friendly face or voice patients encounter. She plays a key role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, supporting both patients and clinicians throughout the booking and treatment process.

Known for her calm, organised approach and attention to detail, Deepti is always happy to help with appointment queries, treatment navigation, and making sure each visit feels welcoming and well managed from start to finish.
