A Year Gone By: 2025 Reflections from Kat at Face Oxford

A Year of Growth, Regeneration & Patient-Centred Care

As we reach the end of 2025, it feels like the right moment to pause and look back at what has been one of the most transformative years for Face Oxford.

This year wasn’t about doing more. It was about doing things better: more intentional, more regenerative, and more aligned with our long-term vision of evidence-based, nurse-led skin health.

Here are the moments that shaped our year.

Our Team Grew — and It Changed Everything

2025 was the year our team became stronger than ever.

Jess: Senior Nurse Injector: Jess continued to flourish, bringing calm precision and clinical excellence to every treatment. She has become a true anchor in the clinic and a favourite among our patients.

Jane: Advanced Skin Practitioner: New to the team this year, Jane completed both her SkinPen® microneedling and HydraFacial training. She’s already delivering beautiful results and settling in brilliantly.

Deepti: Clinic Coordinator: Behind the scenes, Deepti quietly transformed the flow of our days. Her organisation, systems thinking, and warm nature have made a huge difference to how smoothly Face Oxford now runs.

Strong teams make safe clinics — and I’m incredibly proud of ours! A big shoutout to Emily, who is an anchor at the clinic and continues to provide amazing treatments to her loyal patients.

We Stepped Fully into Regenerative Skin Health

A major milestone this year was expanding our focus on regenerative and longevity-based skin treatments.

BYONIK® Cold Laser: This medical-grade, cellular  repair laser has become a core part of our inflammation-reduction and barrier-health strategy.

Slimyonik® Lymphatic Therapy: Supporting lymphatic flow, detoxification and recovery, Slimyonik has enhanced treatment outcomes across the board.

Both devices represent a shift towards long-term skin resilience, reduced inflammation, and supporting recovery at a cellular level — not just results at the surface.

Investing in Learning: Lifestyle Medicine & Future Services

This year, I began my training in Lifestyle Medicine, which will shape many of our future offerings — including hormonal health, metabolic optimisation, gut–skin links, and longevity approaches.

As part of future regulated services, we also made significant progress in:

  • CQC preparation
  • Governance & audit structures
  • Medicines management systems
  • Policy development
  • Safety frameworks

This work may be invisible, but it is essential for a safe, modern, ethical medical clinic.

BAMAN Awards: A Personal Milestone

2025 also brought something unexpected and deeply meaningful. I was shortlisted and nominated for a BAMAN Award, including Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year. I didn’t win — and that’s completely fine. Being recognised among so many accomplished nurses was an honour in itself, and it reinforced just how far Face Oxford has come.

This nomination has fuelled my passion to contribute even more to the aesthetic nursing field in the years ahead.

The Best Part of 2025: Supporting Our Patients

Above everything else, the greatest highlight of this year has been you — our patients. We’ve supported:

  • complex skin journeys
  • long-term regenerative plans
  • post-inflammatory and barrier repair cases
  • holistic, education-led consultations

The trust you place in us means everything.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Next year will be a big step forward for Face Oxford, with a focus on:

  • Lifestyle Medicine pathways
  • New regenerative technologies
  • Menopause and hormonal health support
  • Expanded educational resources
  • Workshops and community events

2025 was a year of building.

2026 will be a year of elevating.

Final Thoughts

Thank you for being part of our journey this year — for trusting us with your skin, your confidence, and your time.

I can’t wait to share everything 2026 will bring.

Love Kat xxx
